The exhibition will be the third in person solo exhibition of artwork by Feingold presented by The Untitled Space. CURATORIAL STATEMENT – by Indira Cesarine

I was first introduced to Fahren’s artwork back in 2016, when we featured her work in group show “LIFEFORCE” at The Untitled Space. I was immediately drawn to her vibrant feminine watercolors – they are fresh and full of energy, and the women she paints are vivacious and alluring. Her wet-on-wet technique juxtaposes just the right amount of detail with gestural paint splashes to keep her watercolors dreamy and ethereal. Over the years her work has evolved and she has explored new subjects and themes yet it always remains consistently beautiful, radiating a youthful and provocative female gaze.

Thoughts on the exhibition by Fahren Feingold:

In my new exhibit, I paint the figures of luxuriating nude women doused in color. I let myself go and freely express my feelings of beauty and femininity thru my watercolor figures. The title, WET DREAMS, is inspired by the masculine turn of phrase – I want to reclaim the term and give it meaning through my perception. In “WET DREAMS”, my paintings take on a dream-like quality using the wet-on-wet watercolor technique, allowing colors to drift across the page and gently wash over the figures.
